I know, I know...I was supposed to post another blog last week, but honestly, I've just been so busy since my last post. It's just so easy to forget to post here. Especially while I'm in the middle of my midterms and everything that's happening in terms of my personal life.
Yesterday, though, started off SO BAD but slowly improved throughout the day! Ben got his foot jammed in a revolving door, so I took him to the emergency vet. He is fine now, especially since he is on a ton of painkillers. However, he has to wear a cone when he sleeps, and he is really upset about it. Here is a photo of him last night with it on him:
This is what I like to call cone couture...OR CONETURE!!! Get it? I personally think that's really funny, but it's possible that I'm just extremely tired and think everything is funny.
But after Ben's fiasco, I went back to class late and caught up on what we were working on. But after class, things really began to look up because one of my friends and I went to Toys R Us, which can only be described as magical. Mainly because we were given free Pokemon cards and Toys R Us hat thingys.
We then opened what we got while watching Five Nights at Freddie's Lore, WHICH I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE MOVIE TO COME OUT!
But the night came to an end when I accidentally ingested bleach...it was a very bad accident, but I think I'm okay? I'm still alive, and that's a pretty good sign if I say so myself.
Today though, I have a lot to do...I still have to write a whole paper, work on my project for sculpture, FINISH my fibers project, and begin working on my presentation for my History of Alternative Manga class.
I know I can do all of this; it's just finding the motivation is really difficult. I also need to go grocery shopping and get things from the art store, but grocery shopping can wait. Even though I only have 2 cans of black beans and fig bars.
I am also trying to learn more in terms of history and geography. At my high school, we never really had a proper history class until APUSH, and I listened in that class up to around the 1940s, and then I zoned out for the remainder of the school year. Which is probably why I did not get the best score on my test.
So, I found some books that I'm going to read, including one about pop culture, because I know nothing in terms of pop culture. I can tell you anything about any book I've read or anything up to the 1940s, but when it comes to any pop culture references past that point, I'm lost. Some people use the expression "I live under a rock," but for me, I like to say: that I've lived in a doomsday bunker for the past 100 years with no access to any news or media. It's just kind of sad...because most of the time, I have no idea what my peers are talking about or what jokes they are making. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS GEN Z SLANG??? Like its just weird at this point. For example, people are using the word: "serial" instead of "serious," like am I just stupid, or does that make no sense whatsoever...?
That's pretty much all I have to say, other than I plan to get on track again with this blog, and hopefully will be able to post again tomorrow! Thank you to everyone who is still reading my blog and staying up to date with it! I truly appreciate it :)
