Okay, first off, I have entirely run out of groceries. I woke up this morning to a bunch of expired food in my fridge, no more coffee, and frozen spinach. I've had no time to go shopping, so I've been eating protein bars and frozen spinach. And I probably won't be able to go to the store for at least another 2 days. I finally found coffee beans in my pantry and was able to make my coffee, but I had to grind them, which was just a pain to do because my coffee grinder always gets grounds EVERYWHERE!

But other than that, the morning has been relatively good, minus the extreme stress I'm under due to the crazy amount of upcoming projects I have due for class. You might be thinking I have a paper or presentation, but no. I go to art school, so I have to make sculptures and intricate embroidery pieces within a few week's time.

One of these in particular, which is due tomorrow, has been an absolute nightmare. I tend to bite off more than I can chew with my projects. I wanted to create a sculptural installation, but it isn't turning out that way. My health has been poor recently, causing me to fall behind in terms of progress with my work. I've been working on a project surrounding the movie Coraline, one of my favorite movies (if you haven't seen it, close this tab and watch it, or else the curse will reach you). For this project, I've been trying to make a 'Coraline doll', which is a significant object featured in the movie. I finished the skeleton of the body and moved on to the head, which I planned to use clay on. After finishing the head, I realized I used air-dry clay. And a lot of it. Because of the amount I used, it would have taken 500 days to dry. So, I had to start over with oven-baked clay. Which takes forever to mold to the shape you want it to form. Not to mention, I AM TERRIBLE WITH CLAY!!! I can literally just make a circle, and it would be the worst thing you have ever seen. Anyway, this has all happened within the past week, and I just want to cry because this is due tomorrow, and I am just so far from finished. The only thing that I'm looking forward to is having this done and playing Roblox with one of my friends tomorrow. So, after my first class today, I have to go home and work like crazy to get this done. I have never been more grateful that I have an online class tonight, so I don't have to worry about going somewhere else.

I also think that I might just have to order my groceries online and have them delivered because it's storming, and I am just way too tired to carry anything other than my backpack to my dorm today.

Another thing that I have been dealing with this past week: my beloved service dog, Benedict. Ben or Benny, informally, recently got over having pink eye, and just when I think everything is back to normal...he gets a paw infection. As well as some random wound on his paw that just came out of nowhere. It was so sad because the other day, I took him to the dog park, and he literally could not run with the other dogs because of the infection. It's also wild because when we went to the vet for his pink eye, everything was fine in terms of his overall health, including his paws. So I'm just blaming the dirty Chicago sidewalks, or maybe my curse just got to him. Most likely the ladder.

I'm not going to lie, this photo was made to make him look pretty sad, but either way, he really was sad. So please send good thoughts his way so my curse doesn't wholly consume him, I beg.

But anyway, that's pretty much what has been going on in my life the past few days, but my family has also been pretty unlucky in terms of this curse.

A literal BEAR broke into my brother's car. To be fair, though, he did leave it unlocked, so it's a lesson learned. Sometimes bears just want to take a joy ride.
